Slovene sign language is used by people in Slovenia with hearing problems to communicate with each other and, via interpreters, with those who can hear. It involves the use of hands, facial expressions, eyes, lips and bodily movements. The bearer of the element of the intangible cultural heritage is the Association of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Societies of Slovenia.
