The parade of the Shrovetide ploughmen is a masked parade in the north-east of Slovenia. The Shrovetide ploughmen, along with dancing masked kurent figures, make jokes, act the fool, play music, do ritual ploughing and pass on traditional greetings to wish the locals good health and a rich harvest.
