Painting beehive panels

Painting beehive panels involves the decoration, often with figurative motifs, of the front panels of the box-like beehives found in the Carniolan type of apiary. Since the mid-18th century, this has been an original and popular kind of folk art, characteristic of a significant part of Slovene ethnic territory.
